Senior Psychology Major Accepted Into Adler University’s Diversity Scholars Program
Wanae Smith, a senior Psychology major in the School of Humanities, Education, Social and Behavioral Sciences was accepted into Adler University’s “Diversity Scholars Program.” This is an enrichment program for promising undergraduate students from underrepresented racial/ethnic groups. The program is designed to expose, educate, and prepare participants for graduate work in psychology. Wanae will have opportunities to network with faculty members and current graduate students through an ongoing mentorship program. In addition, she will attend graduate-level courses, receive guidance for selecting graduate programs, work on her admissions application, and explore a practitioner-based Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Wanae will be traveling to Adler’s campus in Chicago, IL in November.
