SAU President Dr. Christine Johnson McPhail’s Book Ranked Among 100 Best Higher Education Books of All Time
A listing recently released by BookAuthority ranked the 100 best higher education books. “Transformational Change in Community Colleges: Becoming an Equity-Centered Institution,” written by SAU President Dr. Christine Johnson McPhail and Kimberly Beatty, was ranked 75th among the 100 books listed.
According to their website, BookAuthority identifies and rates the best books based on recommendations by thought leaders and experts. The site also boasts appearances on CNN, Forbes, and Inc.

Becoming an Equity-Centered Higher Education Institution is a book that describes and explains equity and transformational change concepts. It also provides step-by-step implementation approaches to integrate equity-centered principles into practices and policies to implement or improve equity work into the organizational culture.
