Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) proudly announces a generous $25,000 donation from the North Carolina Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (NCLBCF) in support of the university’s Falcon Pride Initiative—a movement uniting alumni, community leaders, and partners in sustaining SAU’s historic mission of academic excellence, faith, and service.

This meaningful contribution was made possible through the leadership of Senator Paul Lowe, Chairman of the NCLBCF, and the advocacy of Senator Dan Blue, whose continued support underscores the university’s lasting importance to the city of Raleigh and the state of North Carolina.

Founded in 1867 by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, Saint Augustine’s University has long stood as a beacon of opportunity, leadership, and hope. Today, the Falcon Pride Initiative continues that legacy by engaging supporters to ensure the university’s ability to educate future generations, empower students, and remain a positive cornerstone of the Raleigh community.
