On April 8, 2016 Citrix Systems, Inc. established an agreement with Saint Augustine’s University to provide theUniversity access to the following technologies: RightSignature®, ShareFile® and Podio®.  Citrix, amultinational software company, leads the world in the secure delivery of apps and data, uniting virtualization, mobility management, networking and SaaS solutions to enable new ways for businesses and people to work better.

“The collaboration with Citrix is going to be a game-changer for Saint Augustine’s University,” said Kanton T. Reynolds, Ph.D., interim dean of the School. “Not only do our students get access to world-class technology, but the Citrix team also is committed to helping us build an ecosystem that addresses the professional development needs of our students as well so that they are competitive in the marketplace as graduates.”

According to Reynolds, the RightSignature solution will assist faculty by eliminating some of the paperwork by leveraging electronic signatures. The combination of ShareFile and Podio will provide faculty and students with a collaborative workspace where anyone can securely exchange, track and edit content from multiple devices and locations. Podio will make deadlines, responsibilities and goals clear, which will allow everyone to stay up to date.

“Our collaboration with Saint Augustine’s University illustrates our commitment to the community to deploy the latest in secure and collaborative Citrix technologies,” stated Bill O’Boyle, senior manager, Business Development, Citrix. “We deliver competitive advantage by combining electronic signature, collaboration and secure file sharing solutions to increase efficiencies and dramatically improve the way students and faculty get work done. These technological advantages combined with the University’s rich history and diversity will help create a world-class workforce.”
