Criminal Justice Student Accepted to Attend the Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program
Junior Criminal Justice major Morgan Penny was accepted to attend the Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program. The program is sponsored by the College of Law at Florida State University and brings undergraduate students from throughout the country together in-person, for a month-long immersion into legal study. The primary goal of the program is to acquaint students with the study of law and to assist them in acquiring skills that will benefit their undergraduate and future law school studies. The program has been twice honored by the American Bar Association’s Raymond Pace and Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander Award for Excellence in Pipeline Diversity.
The program will operate from June 1- June 24, 2022. During the four-week program, students will engage in activities covering law school classroom experience, the law school admissions process, and careers in law.
