Saint Augustine’s University Celebrates Distinguished Academic Achievements of Students
Today, Saint Augustine’s University honors students who have excelled in their academics with our 2021 Honors Convocation: Achieving in Spite of Adversity.
Honors Convocation is an annual celebration where the University publicly recognizes and commends students for their distinguished academic achievements. We honor students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, scholarship, and community service.
There are several types of recognitions; some are based on a student’s cumulative GPA (across every course and all semesters) or on semester GPA (across all courses for one semester) or on excellence in a particular area of study. The names of the honorees appear in this program for each type of recognition.
To be honored on the President’s List of Scholars, students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.65 or higher. Similarly, the Provost’s List of Scholars includes students who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 to 3.64.
