Saint Augustine’s University COVID-19 Update September 28, 2021
The health and safety of the Saint Augustine’s University community is our number one priority. Since opening the campus for the Fall 2021 semester, the University has been engaged in promoting and following the CDC mandated COVID-19 guidelines. As a part of our ongoing efforts to protect the welfare of our campus community, classes will be offered in a virtual learning environment from September 29 – October 5, 2021. In-person classes will resume on October 6th. Staff will continue to come to work on site but until further notice all meetings will be held virtually.
Please be advised, as a part of our ongoing measures to maintain a safe environment we will require the entire University community to adhere to the following:
- Wear masks at all times
- Maintain social distancing
- Wash hands frequently
- No visitors will be allowed on campus
- No visitation between residence halls
- Dining services will maintain regular operating hours
Everyone is reminded that students, staff and faculty should continue to participate in regular testing and vaccination events as per the schedule:
Testing Dates
- September 29 (8 a.m. – Noon and 1-5 p.m., Emery Gym)
- October 4,6,11,13,18,20,25,27 (8 a.m. – Noon, Emery Gym)
- November 1,3,8,10,15,17,22,24 (8 a.m. – Noon, Emery Gym)
Vaccination Dates (9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Emery Gym)
- October 5-6
- November 2-3
- December 1-2
