SAU Cycling Completes 2022 Cross Central Series
October 8, 2022- Raleigh, NC: The SAU cycling team competed in its last regular season race of the year in the Cross Central 2022 race series at Dorothea Dix Park. Over 150 riders raced under clear skies and perfect temperatures in the series finale.
SAU riders Kensington Brown (JR) and Jalen Little (JR) each earned podiums in the collegiate men’s division, as well as for the overall series. Noah Wheeler (EC) rode to a podium finish in the women’s collegiate division. While the season is over for most of the team, Brown, and Little will be competing in select ACCC/NCCX events through the remainder of the semester.

About SAU Club Sports: The Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) club sports program is managed by the sports management department in the School of Business, Management, & Technology (SBMT). SAU club sports include cycling, BMX, rowing, Ultimate (frisbee), SIM golf, and SIM motorsports. In addition, sports in development include flag football, pickleball, paddling, VR tennis, 3v3 basketball, and adventure racing. The program is designed to support the SBMT curriculum and introduce sports not typically part of the HBCU experience.
