School of Business, Management, and Technology Student Receives ANA Education Foundation Inaugural Scholarship
The School of Business, Management, and Technology (SBMT) announces a scholarship recipient within one of their departments.
Bre’cha Byrd is the lead-off recipient for the Association of National Advertisers’ (ANA) Education Foundation (AEF) inaugural scholarship. The better part of this award is the mentorship and access. On a separate note, the university has also been gifted membership into ANA membership this year, a premier resource for the advertising industry.
Ms. Byrd is a business administration major, a published author and motivational speaker. She also earned an athletic scholarship for women’s basketball, designed her bookcover, directed a promotional video and created social media for readers to follow her journey.
Ms. Byrd was selected to receive the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Educational Foundation’s HBCU Scholarship. The Selection Committee was impressed by her academic achievements and interest in an advertising, marketing or PR careers. She was one of six sophomores to receive this $5,000 scholarship.
Additionally, she will be mentored by an industry executive during her junior and senior years.
