Professor Lena Wang-Anthony, who teaches Chinese Language and Culture for traditional students and Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in the Extended Studies Department, has been selected as Program Leader for Beijing University’s Summer Chinese Language Camp. She completed the three-day Minneapolis Global Leader Training Program conducted by the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) where she designed the Study Abroad Program and the practical activities to allow the students to practice their Chinese language skills. The one-month program will begin on July 6, 2019, and end on August 5, 2019. This is the first year that Beijing University sponsored this language program for United States high school students.
