SAU Student Peter Musenge Chosen for Stanford Graduate Experience
Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) student Peter Musenge, a junior biology major from Zambia was chosen to participate in the Stanford Exposure to Research and Graduate Education (SERGE) at Stanford University.
SERGE gives students considering graduate school the opportunity to explore the research process and gain a better understanding of the day-to-day realities of doctoral student life. Participants will also be able to take steps toward their advanced degree through workshops and application preparation.
“This a great opportunity for me to start taking actionable steps towards pursuing an advanced degree. I am excited about the exposure and opportunities that SERGE has to offer,” said Musenge. “Through interactions with faculty and graduate students, I hope to strengthen my applications into top tier STEM graduate programs at Stanford University and other institutions. I have already connected with notable professors and graduate students at Stanford University who are doing ground-breaking research. At the end of this program, I hope to learn more about the research environment and graduate education at Stanford University.”
